April is historically the kick-off for real estate’s spring sell season, but May and June can be just as productive if not more so. Most likely you’ve been working with your buyers and sellers throughout the busy holiday season and into the later months of winter. Now at last spring is here with the promise of a busy time ahead. Although marketplace headwinds have been formidable over the last few months, there are still opportunities to be had. Here’s how to get ready for the 2025 sell season:
PERFECT YOUR MARKETING
1. Start with personal calls and handwritten notes to your Sphere of Influence.
2. Make sure your website is up to date, has IDX functionality for property searches and a blog that establishes you as an expert in your area.
2. Polish and leverage your social media presence
3. Send a monthly newsletter and links to your blog that includes market updates (Check out our free marketing materials here).

4. Host a spring home prep workshop or webinar. Discuss price points, inventory, days on market, decluttering strategies, staging tips, landscaping tips and repairs.
4. Make sure you understand how your CRM works and keep it updated.
5. Use Direct Mail – it’s still a very tried-and-true way of getting your name out there as long as your efforts are sustained and consistent.
6. Join a Facebook group and/or Nextdoor and become someone others can rely on and refer.
7. Stand out from the crowd by leveraging home warranty products to both your buyers and sellers–this can give you an edge over other agents.
BE OF SERVICE
Creating relationships built on service are the keys to being a top-producing real estate agent. In spite of today’s challenging housing marketplace, you can stand out from the crowd by being knowledgeable, responsive and involved. These are just a few ways you can make sure people think of you first whenever they think about buying or selling real estate.
